The Program of Artistic Education

To better serve the public the National Gallery of Arts has a program of artistic education. This program functions as part of the art studies department of the institution. This department has set up since 1999 the studio of art study and artistic education for elementary education and secondary schools. 'The Atelier' is a series of lectures prepared by the National Gallery art specialists offered to the school-age pupils in the capital on a daily basis, running from Monday to Friday. These lectures are intended to help the school curriculum giving wide-ranging information and creating opportunities for the younger generations to have a deeper understanding of Albanian art history and its key artists.
